Hagar Australia is an active member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and adheres to the ACFID Code of Conduct, which defines minimum standards of governance, management and accountability of development for member non-government organisations (NGOs). Complaints relating to a breach of the ACFID Code of Conduct can be made to the ACFID Code of Conduct Committee.

Hagar Australia participates in Australian Government funding through Australian Aid: Friendship Grant.

 

Donations of $2 and over to Hagar Australia Overseas Aid Fund (ABN 20 159 198 535) have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office. Funds will be used to improve the lives of women and children who have been trafficked, enslaved or abused.
