Volunteering with Hagar

Time Commitment: Hagar brings on volunteers and interns for a minimum of six months. This ensures a meaningful experience for all.

Financial Commitment: All Hagar volunteers and interns cover all travel and living expenses, including adequate travel and health insurance coverage.

Hagar’s Commitment: All volunteers and interns are supported by Hagar’s Human Resources department and are issued an employment contract prior to arrival in their country placement. Hagar provides all volunteers and interns with a work visa, rewarding work experience and the exciting opportunity to live and make a difference in one of Hagar’s offices.

Protection: Hagar is committed to ensuring the protection and safety of the women and children it serves. Employment, volunteer and intern positions are all conditioned upon the successful completion of relevant background checks.
